Cuba Independent Public Schools is located in Cuba, New Mexico which is a popular stop for
travelers on US 550, a major highway connecting central New Mexico with
the Four Corners region. Cuba is part of Sandoval County and is at the
base of the west facing slope of the Nacimiento Mountain Range. It is a
popular spot for hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and cross country
skiing.
Student enrollment is just under 800 students. The district has 3
schools: one elementary school (grades pre-K-5), one middle school
(grades 6-8), one high school (grades 9-12), and an Alternative Learning
Center.
